As educators we strive to teach the whole child. Catholic Teacher Resources has created CASEL aligned Social Emotional Learning mini-lessons. Use these lessons to kickstart your morning routine or Religion lesson as a way to engage and explicitly teach life-long skills to your students.
All lessons include a teaching objective, a bible quote or passage, an outline, multiple extension activities, and modeling opportunities for both teacher and student. Each mini-lesson takes about 10-15 minutes, but are adaptable by utilizing the extension pieces. We also emphasize inclusivity and diversity both in the lessons and the extension pieces.
